ChickN:
It is my undertanding that the players draft in the expansion draft are our keepers. If you only want one player, better just draft one player, two keepers draft two players etc. etc. We are bound by the same GUR rules as the rest of the league.

I think we are on the same page. I am just basing my comments on the draft selection thus far. I understand there is a lot to still be determined. I am not giving GG the title, it does take an entire team to have a contender.
Just saying that after two rounds, by selecting 2 of the top 4 RBs available in the expansion draft is a great draft. As you correctly pointed out, RBs is very thin. Going into the draft, I would never have guessed that an expansion owner would have obtained some combo of Priest, Deuce, S. Alexander and Tiki. If you told me before the draft that an owner obtained 2/4, I would say that owner had the best expansion draft given the position scarcity, regardless of the next selections.

ChickN:
I did read and digest your post. It is obvious that he has assured himself NOT to finish last. I will pull out another quote of yours:
"So you want to be able to control some of those HIGH DEMAND spots.
WRs are a dime a dozen (after the top 12) TEs are worthless after the top 3."
So my only point is that regardless of who GG selects at WR, TE, OB, DEF & K, he should be a contender b/c all of the remaining players are a dime a dozen. In my opinion, Priest & Tiki is stronger than S. Alex and C-pepp.

Last place, are you serious---Priest and Tiki sounds like the makings of a serious contender.

Like I just mentioned to ChickN, had a known that--I would never have tried to move up. But as it stands, I am definitely happy w/ the Deuce. I was also a little surprised at DeBears third choice but who knows. I thought I gave up a little much to move up, but after the top 3 RBs and Top 2 Qbs, I think the parity of players is pretty even. Thoughts?? Yeah, a little surprised myself.

I think he goes to Brawlers w/ the first pick in the regular draft.

Well I wanted one of the top three backs and this move simply ensures that I get one. If I stayed at 4/5, the best back I would likely receive is Tiki Barber, unless I did not take a first or second round player and tried for F. Taylor or Barlow but I like Priest, Alexander and Deuce a little more than those two.
We shall see how it turns out...maybe. I guess we did not get the memo that the draft starts on July 4???

Gerald:
4th & Inches trades its #4, #5, and #12 expansion draft picks to DeBears (Brock) for his #3, #14, and #19 expansion draft picks.
This trade leaves 4th & Inches with pick #s 3, 13, 14, 19, and 20 in the expansion draft.

It now seems that at this rate, it is going to take a month... The first pick has been on the clock for weeks, why can't the pick just be posted? At this rate we are going to take weeks.....
