Alright, so here's my 2 cents to everything. First off, i don't know about you, but i'm really excited for this year and the NHFFL has got some really good teams so far with a lot of competition.
I was a little surprised about Sheila picking up the Ravens D considering the "Madden Cover Curse"
especially since the Patriots D was out there and only having to give up a 15th rounder for them. I'm not big on picking defenses early. 9th round is way to early for me.
Pennington is a great QB, and he's going to have a possibly a wonderful career. But i still have Bulger edging out Pennington in this league and every other league. Especially in this league only having to give a 12th for him. I guess i'm also all about value. But with the weapons Bulger has and another year under his belt, i just think Bulger has the edge. I guess we could debate about this forever, but we just have to wait and see what happens.
In the expansion draft, i have to give the edge to DaBears. Some great yound talent that is going to produce for many years to come. The only thing that worries me about that team is an ageing Curtis Martin. He just better hope there's still some running back still around when it's his pick in the draft. Gang Green stuck gold with Priest. And him alone makes this team dangerous. I like what 4th & Inches did, getting Deuce and Staley a good QB and a couple of decent recievers and left him in a place in the draft to get himself a solid running back. He's in a good spot to either grab Stephen Davis or Julies Jones or Michael Bennet. Pretty much depending on what i do in the draft. And Hamms Hackers, pretty surprising taking Manning. I do think Garner will have a good year especially coming back with Gruden and Pittman off to jail. But not good enough to give up a first round for.
The Madden division will be fun to watch this year, as will the other two divisions. It's all wide open this year, it's tough to pick a winner still, just wait to august 15th.
I honestly don't know why Pepsi didn't keep Fred Taylor, but i'm not complaining ;D
