(a) I think its a good idea (b) If the timing is right i will most definitely be there (c) would like to actually talk to owners who dont use the draft boards to hear if they have opinions on anything. (d) good way to stimulate trade talk as ive noticed that not only do some ppl not use the boards but are slow at replying mails. (e) would love a lil trash talking with the dominatrix
in conclusion
GOOD IDEA - set it up right away!!!

Just been reading some recent interviews with Priest and he doesnt seem very motivated these days. Not a good sign at all!!!
Dick Vermeil had this to say after practice:
"RB Priest Holmes seems a bit run-down. “He’s fine. His hip got tired on him today and he just sort of ran out of gas and got weak."
Why would a coach publicly say this. Im starting to get scared!!!

I also give my vote to TIKI. He has bulked up this year, and he will be playing with Warner + Eli.
Warner is dependant on a pass catching back (MARSHALL) and will throw alot of balls to TIKI who is a a great receiver.
Eli - a rookie under NFL blitzes takes time to adjust and will not be making his third and 4th reads, instead he will just dump the ball off in the backfield - AGAIN this helps TIKI.
Only drawbacks for TIKI are the HORRIBLE O-line - the NYG have done nothing to address this.
and lastly, TOM Coughlin - tom coughlin will ride u when your're HOT and bench you when you're NOT. Tiki better start off strong or we could actually be seeing more of RON DAYNE.
Why i dont like RUDI - hasnt done it for even ONE year - could be a fluke? They got rid of COREY and did NOT sign rudi to a long term deal and drafted PERRY who is great. TOO much risk to rank RUDI higher.
I pick Nick Cage as well. - MORE VERSATILE than Travolta. When you look at John u cant help but think of VINNY BA BA BARINO from Welcome back kotter. Whereas when you look at nicolas cage u dont have that one image of him.
Imagine the FONZ in movies - u just cant take the guy seriously cuz he is the FONZ. Same way with Travolta.
I pick CAGE!!!

Seeing as the heated debate over TO provided some good reads i would like to introduce another feature to the message boards - WEEKLY FACE OFFS
TIKI vs RUDI
Travolta vs Cage
Which RB is the better Fantasy Back for 2004?
Which is the more accomplished actor?
Let the debate start

To 4 inches:
I looked over your argument and we basically disagree on one thing.
For 3 years - Harrision has been in a high power offense that spreads the ball and Manning averages about 390-395 completions a year but shares with the likes of Edge, Q.Ismail, R.Wayne, Dilger, Pollard, Stokley etc.
I will go on record to say that I think (IN MY OPNINION) that INDY is more of a spread offense in the last 3 years than SF was.
In SF - TO was the man and there was no other man really.
I personally think PHILLY and especially McNabb will NOT focus on one guy. They like to have a controled and spread offense that eats up time and yardage (no big plays or razzle dazzle). Eagles love the short yardage plays.
Andy Reid is a product of the GB system, from that school of thought (SEE JOHN GRUDEN and MIKE HOLMGREN) their offenses are always spread around.
So i believe our view on Philly's offense system is the underlying difference. MH has been getting it done in a spread system. T.O. not really. And if you have been playing fantasy football for awhile, you will tend to agree that WRs changing teams have never really dominated the league as it takes time to pick up a system - see Peerless Price.
Lastly you throw great stats out indicating that on an AVG per game basis T.O. is as good or better that MH.
But dont discount DURABILITY. What if T.O. misses that one game this year when you need him to clinch a NHFFL playoff berth?? TO is known to have BIG games but is also to be known to take games off when things dont go his way. I know this cuz i owned him last year in this league as well.
During the 2000-2002 seasons he accumulated 69% of his touchdowns during weeks 5-11. Last season he only had 1 score after 4 weeks, but did turn it up a notch towards the end of the season. I think it's at least fair to label him as a slow starter, which is not a desirable trait for a FF WR1.
I don't doubt his talent and I don't doubt his physical prowress, but unless you kinda back up the statement that you think AGE will hit MH harder than TO (medically) I cant buy into that.
These guys are not TROY HAMBRICK they are both in great shape. Terrel has caught much more passes over the middle of the field than MH has and thus taken much more punishment.
I would say that McNabb is a smarter QB than Garcia, but my statement was regarding completion percentages. I cant wait to see T.O. go off on Donvan on the sidelines when he throws a few of his notorious balls in the ground.
Lastly, i personally think T.O. is heading to a tougher division and schedule this year with some serious coaches.
Add it all up and TO is #7 on my list of WRs.

Then why did you ask others to evaulate your team?? It seems you already knew!!! Accept others opinions, everyone else accepts yours!! The season will tell all! ;D hilarious statement dude - my original quote had nothing to do with the assessment of my team. I started off by saying GREAT ANALYSIS (if you recall) This entire discussion is simply our opinions on one player and his future projections (based on opinion and historical data and just general knowledge). To say I do not accept people's opinions is ludacris, I may disagree with or even ridicule people's opinions but I will always accept people's opion's. I am the biggest advocate of using this board to say anything you want. So please dont say that I do not ACCEPT other people's opinions. thanks.

Terrel Owens over Harrision at #3? WOW what a horrible statement and i will tell you exactly why:
(1) He always seems to miss a a couple of games. He missed two starts in 1999, 2000 & 2002. He also missed a start in 2003.
(2) The Phily offense spreads the ball around and TO was already bitching about not getting the ball enough, a classic TO thing for attention. Reid wont give into his bitching like MOOCH did.
(3) McNabb is not as accurate a passer as Garcia and miles behind Peyton Manning
(4) You mention Harrison is older and could be slowing down and you replace his top 3 status with a 31 year old?? unbelievable.
Lastly - Chad Johnson has a rookie QB and Hines Ward is unhappy about his contract and will be playing catch with Tommy Maddox for half a season before another ROOKIE comes in.
Im sorry but i completely disagree with your choice at #3.

A very good analysis - just one question
May I ask your top 3 WRs in the league this year? I find it almost comical that you dont include Harrision as even the 3rd best WR.
Contract year - same offense this year with a stronger EDGE and Dallas Clark the whole year with Pollard.
Just curious.

Now is as good a time as any to have another weekly edition of our Team By Team Analysis by your favorite owner - the CHICKEN.
This week we look at J to the OHNNY and his Bomber squad. The Bombers are built much like the OFF CONSTANTLY TEAM with 1 protected QB, 1 protected RB and 2 protected WRs.
The interesting thing to follow with the Bombers, is how will they differentiate themselves from JR and his squad in the upcoming draft.
McNabb is a great QB (slightly overrated in my opinion) but with the addition of T.O. you have to believe all signs are pointing towards a much improved season for Mr.Chunky Soup - lets hope he improves on his horrible completion %.
EDGE came on like gangbusters at the end of last year and there is no reason he wont kick some serious BUTT this year as he is in a contract year and this dude is like Ted Dibase - he is all bout the MONEY MONEY MONEY. I think EDGE posts top 5 numbers this year.
Now where JR's squad has the advantage over the Bombers its at WR. With Jimmy Smith - who has shed pounds and (we hope is drug free) - he looks to have a great year with the young JEDI leftwich. But if Jimmy has an amazing year will he TOP horn and T.O.?? I would have to say no. Donald Driver is WR#2 and GB has a trio of WRs who all are good and all want the ball and there is no gurantee that DRIVER emerges #1 but in this writer's opinion he is the man Farve will look to on his first reads and will have a bounce back year.
So with the 5th Round pick does Johnny go RB? or does he solidify his 1RB and 3WR roster and pick up a stellar WR. The same question should be asked of JR. By round 5 most of the quality backs will be off the board - so this forces the BOMBERS to strategize. STRONG TE? STRONG WR? or a RB for the crucial BYE WEEK or injury.
I believe this strategy will go along way in determining if the BOMBERS are a playoff team or just a pretender. Since its their 2nd year in the league and with JAMES coming back to form and McNabb improving - we all predict a better year this year for the BOMBERS than last year's 4-10 dismal record.
But will they make the playoffs? I will have to say NO - they are in a tough division and the KIDS have one of the most active management teams in the league to steal amazing waiver wire picks.
Stay tuned next week for another break-down.
PS: I refuse to do my own team so I welcome anybody to analyze or tear my team apart.
GARE of the CHICKENS!!!
