Are you ready for some football! I have a good feeling that the chickens will be going down this week!! It should be a great matchup but lots of hard work in the offseason for Gang Green should have the team rebounding with a solid win over the favorite Chicken. Even President Bush is caught in the Act in Choking the Chicken!

I dont understand why BSU gets so much shit?! Its not our fault the MWC took TCU nad not us! We cant help that the WAC is weak! Come on, its still a big deal for ANY 1A team to go undefeted! I understand that we are not your USC but give the team some credit. We just kicked a Pac 10 teams ass! I think that if we were in the Pac 10, we would be competitive! Atleast better than some of the teams there, Ari, OSU, Was, Was st, Stanford, I think we could play with the Pac 10! It would take some adjustment time but I think we could play with them!

Thunder.
I gained some respect for BSU when my ACC school Virginia played them a few years back in an incredible bowl game that BSU came back to win. No doubt BSU could be competitive in the Pac 10 or ACC. With that said, if BSU did move to one of the major conferences, you can kiss those double digit win seasons and BCS bids good bye. You would be 7-5 and 8-4 type seasons. Better to schedule a couple of major conference games, go 12-0, 11-1 and take your chances with a BCS bid. I would be glad to trade Virginia's ACC slot for BSU. With Miami Florida State and VA Tech in the conference we start the year 0-3 every year before the first game is even played!

I understand that in a BIGGER conference our chances of going 12-0 or 11-1 are slim to none! But the thing that drives me nutts is that we get so much crap about being in the WAC, we cant help it. And going undefeated in divison 1A no matter what conference you are in is a big deal. Not saying we will do it this year but we have a good shot! Just drives me crazy when a "USC" fan laughs at BSU for whipping up on a team that is in their conference! Dont get me wrong USC would probably beat us up (Georgia) but hey get rid of 5 TOs in the first half and we have a shot in Athens! Just fighting for my Broncos! I will keep you all informed wheather you like it or not!

That's the spirit. I would love to see BSU go 12-0 and have a shot at BCS Glory!

Boise St. will go undefeated, i already told people that. But then when they get to there bowl game and face real competition, they'll lose like they always have. BSU's schedule is a joke this year. I lived in Boise for 12 years, and got to hear everybody live it up when they finally beat a pac-10 team a couple of years ago. I thought it was kinda cute. And i win money each year when they face real teams. People in Boise actually thought they would beat Georgia last year. I've actually had people come up to me saying that BSU would give USC a run for there money if they ever played. ;D. I would love to see USC play BSU. I would be in the middle of the Crescent (Boise sportsbar) and enjoying every second of that game. But instead USC gets Idaho next year. Boise St. will never be in the pac-10, so everybody can forget about those dreams. And BSU won't play a quality team until 2008 when they go to Eugene to play Oregon. I just hate when people talk BCS about Boise St. They won't play a team in the top 25 this year. So goodluck next week against that tough Wyoming team. USC will be #2 in the polls next week when they face one of there top 20 teams on there schedule in Nebraska.
And it's not that i hate Boise St. I just hate when people put them with the BCS teams. Before BSU's game thursday night they were talking about BSU looking to play in a BCS game. And when they do finish undefeated, i don't think they should be in a BCS game. Not with that schedule. When your biggest accomplishment was beating Oregon St. I would rather see a 2 loss SEC or Big 10 team take that BCS spot, cause i know they had to face some real teams. Anyways, that's my rant. Hope there's no hard feelings. After all, it is only a game and only my opinion.

Its all good G! I know what you are saying but the fact is we cant help that the WAC is crappy. We should be in the Mountain West. I would love for USC to come to Boise and play us! That would be great if they would do a home and home with us! Hey we probably would lose but it would be fun to see! Of course we are just a WAC school. If we get a BCS invite we have earned it. We play Was next year in Seattle, is that not a real team? They are a Pac-10 team?! If you look at our history we are still a very young program and to accomplish what we have in this short of time is outstanding. If we had the history and $$$$ that USC has we would be pretty damn solid. Im not saying that Boise is better than USC or anyother BCS team, but I think that we can play with a lot of those teams. Georgia was a Zabransky circus! It hurt our rep thats for sure. So what did you think of Utah a couple years ago getting in the Fiesta? Their schedual was nothing special! But hey if we get a BCS game we will take it! Who wouldnt! I respect you G you are very knowlegeable!
P.S. GO fight, Go big BLUE, Fight, Fight BSU!!!!!!!!!! GO BRONCOS!

Thunder..while the WAC may be crappy, if BSU wants a legit shot at the BCS it better go out and schedule 2 quality out of conference games--not just 1 Pac 10 team, but a Pac 10, Big 10, SEC, Big 12---say Cal, Nebraska, Alabama, Tennessee. If BSU can run the table with a couple of those teams on the schedule---golden deluxe!

We have a pretty good shot this year if we go undeafeted and TCU loses a game! We have a pretty good shot! We will just have to wait and see, its only week 2.
