I do not know how many owners would be interested, but I want to get some feedback regarding the possibilty of adding a College Player Draft to the NHFFL. I have a couple of ideas in mind:
At the end of the regular season, the inverse order of standings will determine a college player draft order in which each owner may select 1 College Player. This college player, if drafted by an NFL team, may be kept for a set number of years (1-2 years) as a "free keeper" in addition to the current 5 keepers. This player may be traded to another owner but only the drafting owner may keep the player as a "free keeper."
This would give every owner an opportunity to build a farm system from college players if you will. Certainly open to different suggestions.
Just wanted to throw it out there for discussion. Feel free to add comments and/ or criticism.
Thanks for listening..the cellar dweller

sorry 4incher - i dont like the idea - i like giving up or accumulating draft picks to pick up ROOKIES who are drafted by the NFL.
we by pass the 1st round ROOKIE factor by picking up college players..

If you want, bring this up during the offseason and all the owners can vote on it.
