Gerald - would like something cleared up please.
If I make a 3 for 1 trade where i gain one body and give up 3. Does that mean i can pick up 2 bodies off the waiver wire in place of the 2 bodies i got?
I was under the assumption that if you trade a roster spot away you cannot fill it with a waiver wire player? if this is true, can Thunderstruck pick up Musa Smith without dropping anybody?
please clarify and please let me know how many roster spots i have avail to pick up players without dropping anybody.
Thanks for looking into this..

If I trade K. Jones AND A. Lelie that puts my roster at 16 players. So that means I can pick up 2 FREE AGENTS which are players not on a roster. M. Smith was released by the NFL Wizards in order to make room for either K. Jones or A. Lelie. I was the first person that saw this so I quickly made M. Smith an offer he just could not refuse. A 1 year free agent contract with a huge signing bonus. He told me that he would "love to be a part of Thunder instead of being struck by it." Smart man if you ask me. The rules state: Free agency ends Sat. @ 11:59 pm eastern time. It starts back up on Mon. @ 11:59 pm eastern. Thats when the Waiver Wire kicks in. Waiver Wire picks only last until Tue. @ 11:59 pm eastern. After Tue. Free Agent pick ups are on a first come first served basis. So when the Wizards released M. Smith he became a free agent and signed with Thunderstruck. Do the Chickens want to trade? ;D Thunderstruck

As long as your roster size is under 18, you can pick up a player without dropping anyone. You just have to do it in the time limit given to you.
