Instead of just placing new owners with teams that were already put together by other people, the NHFFL will hold and expansion draft. Players that were abandoned will be thrown into the expansion draft pool. It will be a 5 round draft, serpentine style. The draft won't be a timed structured draft. The owners involved will be notified that it is there turn to draft via e-mail or other means. This draft could last one day, one week, or even two weeks.
This year going into our second year we have experienced a higher turnover rate of owners then i wanted. But hopefully these new owners coming in can be stable and be able to last in the NHFFL for many years. If anybody has any questions about this please let me know. thanks.
Well right now i have a couple of people in mind. But if he is reliable and interested, have him e-mail me and i'll try to bring in the best owners. Thanks.
But i can tell you who won't be. I just got word a couple of days ago that Aram the owner of the Thundering Herd will not be returning. Citing personal and financial problems as the reason. I will find another owner to fill his shoes, and an announcement concerning the new owners will be made soon.
As for other owners that have told me they will return are Off constantly who renamed his team which was Flyin Hawaiins last year. The Belfast Bombers and Dominated Slaves will also be returning. Those are owners that i know personally. Also i'm pretty sure Butter Chickens will be around as well.
And as for owners that i haven't heard much from are: Pepsi QC and NFL Wizards. The two Super Bowl contestants from last year have been pretty quiet and are starting to make me a little nervous. As for everybody else, it's a done deal.
I guess you are pretty bored. I posted that like 3 months ago. It was pretty much what he was on pace to do. Kind of like how the NFL and other sports do. If you're really that bored you should come down to xpertleagues.com and do some survivor drafts with me. Later.
This is a reminder to everyone that the deadline for all transactions to be completed is this saturday night at 11:59 pm. That means no trades, no dropping players, nothing until after the draft. Thank you and good luck on sunday.
Well i did this trade for a few reasons. first trading Owens will free up my first round for me. I'll only have to give up a 3rd for Johnson. Plus Chad is only going into his 4th year in the NFL, where T.O is heading into his 9th. Also for person reasons, i love Chad's attitude and the way he plays the game. And some people may disagree with me with a new QB coming in this year, but i honestly think Chad could come away this season with another 90 catch 1300 yd and 10 td season. And that would be just fine with me. I also think Carson will do just fine as well. And i love the QB/WR combo in fantasy. So i am pretty excited about this trade. And excited about the up coming fantasy season here in the NHFFL. ;D
The Shortbus Kids are on the move once again. There third trade of the offseason. The Shortbus Kids have sent WR Terrell Owens and there 7th round pick to Off Constantly for WR Chad Johnson.
The Shortbus Kids owner/GM Gerald was quoted as saying, "we feel this is a good move for our organization. Chad is younger then T.O. and can put up the same if not better numbers then T.O. We look forward to great things from Chad for years to come. Also with the completion of this trade, this will allow us to make a pick in the first round. Right now we have a young and exciting nucleus. With Chad, Rudi, Carson, Andre and Marcell, we are very excited about the 2004 season." ;D
So i have updated the rosters page with new e-mail addressess from everybody that gave me a new one to put up. The rosters are also updated. I'm currently putting up new team pages for everyone. And as soon as they're all done, your team-by-team schedules will be put up on them for the 2004 season. We only have 5 months till the first kickoff, so i'm trying to hurry .
Also, welcome Brock and Russ to the No Huddle family. Brock's team will be known as Da Bears. And Russ who's team name will be the Hamms Hackers.
Check it again. ;D With so many great running backs scoring a lot of points this year, i've added a fifth to the All-No Huddle team. Along as a third QB and a fifth WR. There won't be any other changes to the list, so please don't ask. You're more then welcome to share your views on it as well as on anything else. I actually made a mistake and missed Green's scoring. That's the reasoning on the additions. Ahman Green finished third in scoring among running backs in the NHFFL this year. So of course he should be on the list.
If anybody is interested in changing there helmets, just go to the rosters page and in the left corner click on NHFFL helmets. And just go from there. And let me know.
Example: say you want to protect players that were drafted 1.1, 1.3, 1.5, 1.7, 1.9
you would then have to give up your 1st round pick for 1.1 then your 2nd rd pick for 1.3 3rd round pick for 1.5 4th round pick for 1.7 5th round pick for 1.9
The earlier the player was drafted the higher the pick you'll have to give up.
