Formal protest this week's game.
I substituted Toomer for Westbrook before the kickoff of the Phi/NYG game due to the Game Time Decision of Westy's injury and was later informed that I could not make such a change. As a result, I loose a tie breaker on TDs.
This loss stinks...and I want the league to know about it.

That is not how the rule is applied. Owners on Thursday night games can submit a lineup and then submit Sunday lineups as well. "The first kick off of the week" has been applied inconsistently.

Here it is from the rules page: LINEUPS *Your weekly lineup will be due before the first kickoff of the week. *If there is say a thursday game, then just those players playing on thursday must be sent in. *Flex: Your starting lineup must consist of: 1 QB, 2 RB's, 2 WR's, 1 TE, 1 K and 1 Defense. Or 1 QB, 1 RB, 3 WR's, 1 TE, 1 K and 1 Defense. *Ways you can send in your lineup: e-mail, call-in, or leave on the message board. *If you do not send in a lineup, your lineup from the previous week will be used instead.

I have reworded the rules so that there is no more confusion. Sorry, i thought after 5 years this rule was clear.
*Starting lineups are due no later then the first kickoff on sundays. After that time there will be no substitutions or changes of any kind to lineups for the week.
*If there are thursday, friday and or saturday games that week, players playing in those games that you want to start must be submited before those kickoffs.
*If you did not submit a lineup where there are thursday, friday and or saturday games, players that you have playing in those games will be taken out of your lineup and you get a 0 for those positions.

Gerald. I apprecaite the clarification. Can you explain the rationale why an owner cannot substitute a Monday/Sunday night player with a different Monday/Sunday night player if those games have not started? Is that owner gaining an unfair advantage??? It is not like you see the stats of one player and decide to go with another. This was a great example of a player that is questionable for a Sunday night game up until 30 minutes before kick off and then declared inactive. If the owner has the felxibility to sub another player, why should he not be able to. Is it really better to force that owner to play the game short handed even though a replacement player could have been substituted.
Just my two cents.
